Rep. John Grange is flanked by members of the El Dorado Post 81 American Legion. They were in Topeka at the Annual Legislative reception, Feb 13th 2008, hosted by the Am. Legion. The reception provides an opportunity for the organizations to discuss issues of common interest with their elected State Officials.

Samuel Harding, 4 1/2 year old grandson of John and Nancy Grange was a co-pilot during his first small airplane ride. He flew from Tuscaloosa Alabama to El Dorado for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Another high profile "power lunch" with Rep. John Grange and his Intern, Washburn Sophomore, Jeff Hornberger.

KU Women's Coach Marian Washington, and Lynette Woodard. They were in the State Capitol Thursday the 1st. As you know Lynette was the first woman Globe Trotter, All American at KU, and played on the 84 Women's Olympic Championship Team.

Michelle Walthers is the current Miss Kansas and she was kind enough to pose with me. Michelle is from my district, City of Towanda, and is an accomplished artist and a delight to know.

8/11/06 -- Dr Jackard is a PHD educator that has expertise in dealing with troubled children and at risk students. He spent time this week in El Dorado and he presented a seminar to the community on Tuesday night, went to a boy's home in Goddard on Thursday and Thursday night we went into the El Dorado Correctional facility and presented to the inmates and staff.
